Learning pods are small groups of students (2–6) who meet regularly for customized instruction, enrichment, or homeschool support. My learning pod program is designed to combine high-quality academics with the connection, creativity, and consistency families want in a flexible educational model.
A learning pod is a small group of students, typically in the same grade or academic level, who receive weekly instruction together for many sessions for the year. Each pod is thoughtfully designed to:
Follow a personalized learning plan
Foster peer collaboration and discussion
Offer structure, routine, and accountability
Build both academic skills and character development
Pods are ideal for homeschool families, microschools, or students in online programs who benefit from in-person or live group instruction.
Each pod is customized based on the students’ needs, grade level, and parent goals. Possible areas of focus include:
ELA: Reading comprehension, writing, grammar, vocabulary
Math: Procedural fluency, problem-solving, and conceptual understanding
Science & History: Hands-on activities, experiments, and project-based learning
Enrichment: Art, music, journaling, and SEL (Social-Emotional Learning)
Character Building: Responsibility, empathy, growth mindset, and teamwork
Parent-Suggested Curriculum: I can align sessions to charter-approved or homeschool curricula
Or My Suggested curriculum: Parents can purchase the curriculum that I suggest.
Schedule & Commitment
To ensure consistency and progress, all learning pods follow this structure:
Minimum session length: 3 hours
Frequency: 2–3 sessions per week consistently following a parent given curriculum
Weekly schedule is agreed upon in advance
Tri-Monthly minimum to a Year commitment needed for group consistency
*Rates may vary depending on location and travel distance and time traveled. Pods held or near 10 minutes at my Irvine location (near Teller & Campus) receive standard rates.
Additional fees may apply for in-home instruction or pods held outside the immediate area.*
